Proof that Ryder's teeth really do exist... I mean I am so excited I will probably put a picture up of his teeth each post. And let me tell you, I brush those babies like it's going out of style.
Sorry for the 80's analogy, I'm too tired to think of any others.

The air conditioning unit in my office building has officially been out of service for eight, yes I said eight, days (during the heatwave of 2010, mind you) ... and the A/C company finally got around to working on it today. I had several fans to keep me decent. The workers, on the other hand, looked like they had face plunged into a bottle of vaseline and head plunged into a bucket of grease. In other words, they were soaked head to toe. Well I guess one of the men thought I looked as though I might melt away so he decided to be real sweet and take off his saturated baseball cap and began fanning me with it. I'm talking sweat flying everywhere. And in a matter of 10 seconds I was covered. He was justa grinnin the whole time, like he had just done me the biggest favor. I honestly didn't know what to do. I froze. And I had this deer in the headlights look on my face because I didn't know how to react. These are the times I wish I wasn't "too" nice. I didn't want to embarrass him because in his mind he was just doing me a favor. OH. MY. GOSH. It was one of those "That JUST Happened moments. I ran to the sink and scrubbed soap on every exposed inch of epidermis on my body. Oh to have been a fly on the wall.
Because of the hellacious temp in the office, I was off work yesterday so I got to spend the day with my little love and luckily I was able to take him back to the dermatologist to clear this mess up, no pun intended. We are now going to faithfully bathe in Cetaphil for Excema (a new product), take an antibiotic called Eryped for five days, and coat his body with Fluticasone Cream twice a day. Then we have to go back in two weeks to "assess the situation."
I am proud to announce Ryder is bib free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I use that many exclamation points, you know I am happy. He hasn't worn one in a week or two and so far, so good! It's so nice to actually get to show off cute outfits. I could've dressed the child in the same exact thing every single day since it was covered by the ginormus bib anyway. Now don't get me wrong, he still lets a few slip every now and again, but he is no longer flowing a river rapid from his mouth.

BOOK YOUR PHOTO SESSIONS!!
As most of you know, Connie (who keeps Ryder) is a photographer. You have seen the precious pictures she has taken of Ryder, including the little cowboy hat/boots shoot. She and her business partner of Cherished Memories Photography are taking children or family photos in a COTTON FIELD in Bolton on Oct 9 and 10. They will offer mini-sessions of 20 minutes with 20 edited photos on a CD for $60 OR a 1 hour session with unlimited edited pictures (usually between 150-300) on CD with 1 outfit change for $100. Go to their facebook page for details or Email photography.cherishedmemories@gmail.com. This is also a great idea for Christmas Cards! They do an awesome job and the best part is having all your photos on a CD and can print as many copies as you want, in any size you want.

Watch this mom...
Where's the party at???
Apparently he enjoys putting objects over his head.
Sir - Can you hear me now?
Somebody was beginning to wonder why his car has been parked over the past week.
It was much too difficult to explain that mommy had been working in a 100 degree building the past eight days and that it would be torture to take him outside.
So, we improvised. He didn't know the difference in driving inside or out. As long as he got to take the wheel.
And then he spotted his safety helmet while driving...
These are major milestones here! And I truly sympathize with the no bib situation. Bib-free is so so nice :)
